Metorana Story

Metorana formerly known as the Rejects is a band of long time childhood friends Ian (guitarist/singer), Sam (bassist) and Alex (drummer) who shared a common bond of 90's alternative rock like Primus, Nirvana, Metallica, and The Red Hot Chili Peppers. They fuse Rock, Dance and electronica in their music and started their musical career in a studio basement in Queens. They spent years evolving their sound and musical skills, making a name for themselves in the upcoming music industry as unsigned artists. They have grown through their writing, recording and producing all of their music on their own.

What's their advice to upcoming artists? "Just keep doing what you're doing because you love it and can't live without it. Don't listen to anyone who tells you that you aren't good enough because it's only a matter of time before someone takes notice. If we can do it, you can too! You just have to want it enough and not be scared to take risks. Keep writing every day."

Metorana formerly known as the Rejects has performed on stage in Webster Hall in New York City a night club known for bringing quality raw talent to its stage and at Irving Plaza for a benefit of flood victims in Thailand. Most recently, Metorana performed at Bar Matchless in Williamsburg, Brooklyn where they are extremely popular and occasionally performing at Loft party's which is a huge underground movement popular among teenagers.
